Volkel Airbase

Today 5 feb 2010, I went to Volkel Airbase the Netherlands,

for a quick stop, with a good buddy of mine (J-A)

Unfortunately that weather was cold, dark, and wet....

It was known that there were some rare visitors comming from the UK.
From Leuchars Scotland to be exactly (EGQL)

The visitors were Tornado's F-3 from 111 SQN, and probably the last time that they were in the
Netherlands, because the Tornado F-3 is going to be phased out very shortly..(2010/2011)

spangdhalem 4 august 2009

Today I went to the very nice and hot (about 30 degrees C) spangdhalem.

Was not sent away this time ,

But I saw that sombody else was sent away.

I was sent away by the base police a couple of years ago....

so if you go you must hide in the bushes a little bit...
